    Typical entry follows completion of the L4DB, with an English level equivalent to IELTS 5.5.

    What learners study

    The L5DB is the equivalent of the second year of a UK bachelor's degree and develops applied business skills.

    On the new specification it is assessed 100% by assignment. Units include: Start-up Business; Innovation and Growth; Raising Finance Capital; Agile and Responsive Leadership; Ethics in Business; and Global Business: The Impact of Policy.

    Progression

    Graduates may progress to the Level 6 Diploma in Business Strategy and Management (L6DBSM), or to a published university / WINC top-up. University entry is separate and not automatic — it is subject to the university's admission requirements.
